Nestled in the heart of the Georgian Triangle, one km from Blue Mountain Resorts, one km from beautiful Georgian bay! Bluewood Stables owners and staff welcome you to come and enjoy a fun filled trail ride on the Niagara Escarpment. We have it all, you can be led by our knowledgable, friendly guides, escorted through forests filled with abundant wildlife, streams and fields, aboard our experienced and gentle horses. For the more adventurous riders our horses are well trained and can take you on a ride like no other. For the romantic at heart, a wonderful twilight ride with that special someone, offered throughout the summer months.
Glenn & Sandy McKee-Widdifield are the proud new owners of Bluewood Stables, and invite everyone to come out and see the exciting new addtions made. We are taking Bluewood to a whole new level of family entertainment.
In our short time of new ownership, the enhancements made so far have been very positive and for the future we are working with all our customers feedback to help guide us. So come on out and see for yourselves, we'd love to see you and your families take a ride with us!

Winding Creek Trail (half hour) $30.00
Winding Creek Trail (1 hour) Take a turn in the saddle. Ride along beautiful trails winding through forests, fields and across creeks. Mini lesson before departure. Very relaxed and comfortable. Our most popular ride for all levels of riders, in all seasons - $45.00
Wilderness Trail (2 hours) Beautiful trails through the valleys, ravines and hills of the Niagara Escarpment. Scenic views of Blue Mountain and Georgian Bay. A great ride for those who like to get away from it all and enjoy nature Ages 10 and up, experience riders only Available at select times $80.00
Twilight ride
Come ride off into the sunset through the foothills of blue mountain. The fun begins at 7:30pm, includes instruction before the ride, a one hour trail ride then camp fire with a complementary cowboy dinner cooked over a open fire. $90.00 Tuesday & Thursday Nights
Western Riding Lessons Private, $50.00 ($ 450.00 set of ten) Semi Private, $ 45.00 ($ 400.00 set of ten) Group $ 40.00 ($ 350.00 set of ten)

Morning's 9am to 12 noon Monday to Friday, $ 300.00 per camper. Afternoon's 1pm to 4pm Monday to Friday, $ 300.00 per camper.

Pony Rides 9:00 am-1:00pm, 3:00-4:00 pm

Directions from Collingwood
Arriving on HWY 26, Go straight through the lights at the Pilkington factory which you'll see on your left. At the next set of lights(Toyota dealership on your right Home furniture on the left) follow the road to the right- you are still on hwy 26 west.( also called first street) Continue through three more sets of lights until you approach the fourth set with the Holliday Inn Express on the right. Follow the road to the right- you will still be on hwy 26 west (although once you veer to the right, the road is also called "Balsam" for a short stretch) Go straight through the next 2 sets of lights( you'll see the Canadian tire plaza on the left) You've now left the main town of Collingwood. Keep travelling along hwy 26 west until you see the sign for Grey Road 21, turn left and continue for 1/2 km. We're on the right.
Arriving on HWY 124, Go straight through the 7 sets of lights (you'll come right through down town) at the 8th set of lights,(also a dead end) turn left on to first street (also Hwy 26 west) follow through three sets of lights until you approach the fourth set with the Holliday Inn Express on the right. (Follow above directions from there.)
